Michael J. Riek Sr, CEO & Co-founder
Michael is a serial entrepreneur with a strong management background. Michael started his career in software sales and eventually went on to lead the sales and marketing efforts for a North Carolina based software firm. Michael co-founded and managed a technology focused BPO company called "Help Desk NOW" with numerous technical support centers across Canada and Latin America. After initiating the sale of "Help Desk NOW" to an Indian firm, Michael founded various consulting, telecom, and technology firms. Michael founded TechBuddha in 2010 with the goal of establishing a global technology company focusing on the technical support needs of consumers for their home based PCs and small companies that do not have internal technical resources. Within the first year of operation TechBuddha had 10,000 customers in 6 countries. Michael has earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an MBA from the Babcock School of Management, Wake Forest University.
